Lard Ass

Initially, this comes off as a humorous play on words...a cheap shot about a popular and influential person who, when reaching such a famous stature as Kim has, should be prepared for this sort of thing. After posting this myself on facebook I started to feel guilty. Why? I’ll tell ya.

1. Kim contols 90 to 99% of what the public sees and this is ultimately what keeps her in business.

2. Kim, along with her family, have no basic talent, and have gotten famous by doing, well, nothing. To really put this in perspective imagine this: they have to stay relevant and continue to hock their wares to people, and even though there was hardly a chance that they should succeed, they has persevered and stayed in the limelight for many years now.

3. Kim’s step father and now aptly step mom, is a force to be reckoned with. Kim’s Stepparent actually did something worthwhile of fame, according to the standards that most famous people get famous. Now Caitlyn is doing everything she can to use her fame for a greater purpose that includes bringing trans issues to the mainstream. She’s readily explained that she is using her fame and fortune for a greater good for all...unlike the other Kardashians...and that is a lot to compete with!

It’s the same reason the we can sit back and laugh at a celebrity that got famous for doing nothing, as we can have an advocate in the national mainstream press advocating transgender rights and teen suicide.

I guess I will appreciate the laugh that I can have as it is the same reason the many trans teens will live to see adulthood.
